Scout leaders are wanted to help boost a new scout group recently launched in Rochdale by Pennine Scout District.
Open to all, the 5th Pennine Scouts, based at Deen House on Station Road, is proving to be very successful with the troop meeting on Fridays during term time.
There is already a large waiting list of beavers and cubs, who will be invested on 25 April, following the 10 leaders who were invested on Friday (5 April).
Pennine District Commissioner Alan Sharkey said: “We are all very proud of this new group and would welcome new leaders to help us grow.”
