Date published: 07 March 2008
Police are growing concerned about the whereabouts of a 71-year-old woman who has been reported missing.
Shirley Sinkinson was last seen at about 7.50am at Highfield House on Manchester Road, Heywood on Tuesday 4 March 2008.
She is described as white, of medium build, about 4ft 9in tall with multi-coloured collar length hair. She was last seen wearing a pink cardigan, a white jumper, a white blouse and a dark blue jacket.
She is believed to be in the Heywood or Bury areas.
Police Constable Leo Glossop, based at Rochdale Police Station, said: "Shirley is a streetwise character, but it is still of concern to us that she has not been seen in a few days.
"I would urge anyone who knows of her whereabouts, or who sees someone matching Shirley's description, to come forward and contact police."
Anyone with information is asked to call Greater Manchester Police on 0161 872 5050.
