Councillor Ashley Dearnley and Councillor Shakil Ahmed visit Year 10 Citizenship students at Kingsway Park High School
Year 10 Citizenship students at Kingsway Park High Scholl took part in an engaging question-and-answer session with Councillor Ashley Dearnley and Councillor Shakil Ahmed recently.
Students asked about a range of topics including what life is like as a councillor and what of kind of issues the council deals with.
The students also took part in a mock referendum on Brexit with council officer Graham Baker.
Mr Davies, Teacher of Citizenship at Kingsway Park said: “The session was enlightening, thought provoking and an informal enjoyable discussion for the students.”
