Drivers are being urged to slow down when it’s raining
There will be spells of gusty winds, today, Thursday 14 March.
Early rain will clear to leave some sunny spells, but also showers. The showers could be heavy with the risk of hail. It will be another windy day with strong to near gale force westerly winds.
Thursday evening and overnight it will become mostly cloudy with spells of rain pushing eastwards. The rain could be heavy and persistent for a time overnight. A rather windy night.
Once again early rain will clear on Friday 15 March, to leave a windy day with spells of sunshine, but also showers. The showers could be heavy and possibly wintry on the high ground.
Unsettled on Saturday with heavy rain and the potential for strong winds in the morning. The rain should ease towards evening to leave a few showers overnight.
Sunday will be windy with showers, perhaps merging to longer spells of rain. Overnight, chilly with more isolated showers.
Monday will be mostly dry, but cloud will tend to thicken later in the day.
