St Margaret’s opens new library on World Book Day

St Margaret’s CE Primary School in Heywood opened their new library area on World Book Day, Thursday 7 March.
All pupils and staff dressed in character throughout school and reading was celebrated throughout the day.
Pupils, staff and parents helped to raise money for this area through a range of fund-raising activities in school.
Mrs Beresford, Headteacher said: “The new library was opened in dedication and memory of Mrs Elaine Dutton who was a governor, volunteer and friend of St Margaret’s and was opened by her husband Mr Dutton and her daughter Sarah.
“The pupils love their new library which looks amazing.”
