Kingsway Park High School Bikeability course
Kingsway Park High School recently participated in the Bikeability scheme for year 7 students.
The bikeability scheme is a great opportunity for students to complete a cycling proficiency course.
Students gain practical skills and understanding of how to cycle on busy roads as well as building their confidence for any type of cycling.
During the training students are also taught about the importance of bike maintenance to ensure that their bikes remain roadworthy.
The students involved said they enjoyed the three-day course and felt much more confident afterwards.
