Castleton will have its Christmas lights switched on on Monday
Castleton will have its Christmas lights switched on for the festive season on Monday 26 November, in a promising countdown to Christmas.
The village's lights will be turned on at 6pm by a very special guest, and toastmaster Alan Calow will host the evening on the village green next to the Co-op.
A choir from St John’s and St Gabriel’s will sing Christmas carols, and poetry readings will be recited by the drama academy.
What’s Your Beef will provide food and beverages will be provided by Barley and Bubbles. Free mince pies will be available courtesy of the Co-op.
