Rochdale Wedding Show returns

Date published: 13 November 2018

Couples planning to tie the knot will be heading to Rochdale town hall next year - when Rochdale Wedding Show returns on Sunday 3 March.

Organisers Rochdale Borough Council are planning another strong line-up for spring 2019, bringing around 35 of the borough’s creative, stylish and inspiring suppliers together alongside catwalk shows, live music and more. Outside there’ll be a collection of contemporary wedding cars as well as a few surprises.

Earlier this year the event saw around 600 people through the door looking for inspiration for their big day, with local companies exhibiting the latest collections and trends in bridal wear, formal menswear and everything in between - from flowers and classic cars, to photography, venue dressing, catering, cakes, entertainment, jewellery and decorations.

You’ll also get chance to see the town’s Register Office, the ceremony room, enjoy prosecco and cake in the Clock Tower Dining Room while you contemplate the many options.

The Grade One Victorian Gothic building is renowned worldwide for its unique architecture and is a popular wedding venue.

Councillor Janet Emsley, cabinet member for neighbourhoods, community and culture said: “Rochdale Wedding Show is always a good afternoon out for anyone looking to peruse their options ahead of the big day - especially if they’re looking for something a little different. It will be another fabulous showcase for superb local companies and I’m pleased to see it return to our stunning town hall next year.”
