Middleton’s haunting Halloween Heritage Trail

Date published: 07 November 2018

Middleton’s haunting Halloween Heritage Trails on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 October, attracted over 300 people over the two nights, as a 'spooky undertaker' lead walkers around the historic and sometimes scary sights of Middleton.

There were two 'haunting Halloween Heritage Trails' each night, at 6pm and 8pm, with the 6pm walk geared towards children.

Adam Torevell, Middleton Town Centre Manager said: “The walk finished with a Pie and Pea supper at The Olde Boars Head, supposedly one of the most haunted pubs in the area.

“I was really pleased to see so many people attend, making this again, a very popular event.

“It was great to see how many people were interested in our local history and in turn supporting their town.”
