Planning application submitted to demolish former Tapios restaurant and build 16 apartments

The former Tapios restaurant at Bowlee
A planning application for 16 apartments has been submitted for the former Tapios Mediterranean restaurant on Heywood Old Road at Bowlee.
The application proposes demolishing the existing building and including associated external works, car parking and landscaping alongside an apartment block.
Tapios was destroyed during a fire of unknown cause in September 2016.
No comments have as yet been received on the application, which was validated on 18 June.
