Heywood Rotarian's 85th Charter Dinner
Heywood Rotary Club celebrated its 85th Charter Dinner in the Riding Suite at the Royal Toby.
The Mayor of Rochdale Mohammed Zaman along with dignitaries from Rochdale and Middleton joined the Heywood Rotarians.
Guest speaker was Reverend Mike Huck.
The Rotarian’s Charter was read out by their latest member.
The Mayor said: “I was glad to see that I wasn’t the only person with a chain. The event was very well organised which made it a good get together.
“I felt at home with everybody as we listened to good music and had good laughs.”
Councillor Peter Rush said: “A good time was had by all and it was great to keep up the Rotary traditions.”
