Hundreds enjoy Greater Manchester Fire Service Museum open day

Hundreds of visitors enjoyed a sunny open day at the Greater Manchester Fire Service Museum in Rochdale on Sunday (3 June).

Fire museum attractions were on show at the Old Fire Station on Maclure Road, including a collection of historic firefighting artefacts from the 18th century to present day, the modern fire engine, fire service dogs, funfair and fire engine ride plus home-made refreshments and souvenirs.
