Fire at Heywood Morrisons

A fire crew attended Heywood Morrisons on Saturday (2 June) after a fire broke out in the store.
A spokesman for the fire service confirmed: “We were called at 10.03am to a fire in Morrisons bakery.
“The fire was already out by the time the crew arrived. They stayed for approximately ten minutes.”
The store shortly re-opened.
No staff or customers were injured.
