Car seized after uninsured driver arrested

The car was seized
A car was seized on Green Lane in Heywood on Sunday (6 May).
The driver, who was not insured, had only passed his test one month ago, and also provided a positive sample for drink driving.
He was arrested under section 165 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 (no insurance) and section 5 (Driving or being in charge of a motor vehicle with alcohol concentration above prescribed limit).
