Rochdale's Environmental Management teams are already getting the town's green spaces, highways and parks in superb condition in anticipation of the Britain In Bloom judges visiting Rochdale this summer.
The team pulls out all the stops every year to meet the high standards the competition demands.
A spokesperson for Rochdale In Bloom said: "The whole In Bloom effort is based around a great relationship with Environmental Management and the community groups. The efforts are consistently amazing."
Rochdale has achieved gold medal status for the last two years. In November, it was announced at the regional finals in Southport that Rochdale would be representing the North West nationally in the 'Small City' category.
The RHS Britain in Bloom judges will visit the finalists in August with the winners of each category and finalists’ final score – ranging from gold to bronze - announced at an awards ceremony in Belfast on 19 October.
