Rochdale Christadelphians

Date published: 03 May 2018

The title of our Bible Hour on Sunday 6 May at 4:30pm, is ‘Science, logic, common sense and faith’.

Across the world, scientists and other academics are trying to find out how everything in existence works. At the same time, many people choose to follow their religious or superstitious beliefs without any real evidence that it is true – it is simply ‘their truth’, in ‘their world’.

However, there is overwhelming evidence that there IS a God and that he has told us through the Bible what he wants us to do for Him. This does not mean that faith is unimportant- in fact, Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6 says that “But without faith it is impossible to please him:”. It goes on to say that “he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”. God will reward those who believe in him, with eternal life.

Our Bible class will be held at 7:45pm on Tuesday 8 April 2018, which will be about ‘The fig tree’.
