Man taken to hospital after swallowing corrosive substance

A man was taken to hospital after swallowing a corrosive substance on Wednesday (2 May).

Shortly before 10.30am on Wednesday 2 May 2018, police were called to reports of a concern for the welfare of a man on Hanover Street, Castleton.

Officers attended and a found a man who had swallowed a corrosive substance.

He was taken to hospital for treatment of his minor injuries.
