Man charged after a series of burglaries in Rochdale

A man has been charged after a series of burglaries in Rochdale. 

Bernard Ward (27/10/77) of Curzon Road, Kirkholt has been charged with five counts of burglary. 

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (2 May). 

Between 27 and 30 April, a string of burglaries took place across the Rochdale Borough targeting elderly victims by offering gardening services.
