Mini crashes into house on Whitehall Street

Date published: 01 May 2018

A white Mini crashed into a house on Whitehall Street on Monday morning (30 April).

The incident involved two cars, a white Mini and a Renault Clio at the junction of Whitehall Street and Quarry Street with one car crashing into a nearby mid-terraced property.

A fire engine from Rochdale and the Technical Response Unit from Ashton-Under-Lyne attended.

On arrival, all casualties were self-rescued but there was concern for the stability of the building.

Working alongside partner agencies, fire crews shored up the doorway of the property.

No arrests were made.
