Middleton Scouts and Guides paraded through the streets of Middleton for their annual St George’s Day Procession on Sunday 22 April.

The groups started with a service at St Leonard’s, Middleton Parish Church, where groups renewed their Laws & Promises.

The parade was led by The Rev David Brooks, St Leonard’s, Middleton Parish Church, Liz McInnes, MP for Heywood and Middleton and guests, Garry and Lynda Smith, Ray Whittle, Brenda Holmes, Muriel Clegg, Alan & Eileen Needle, Cynthia Hardman and Irene Rowell.

The Union Flag, The St George’s flag, District Scout Flag and the Walt Clarke Trophy flag were all paraded by scouts and guides.
