Stolen car with false plates recovered

A stolen car with false registration plates has been recovered from Rochdale.

The blue Vauxhall was recovered after police were called to reports of a fail-to-stop collision at around 7.40pm on Wednesday 4 April in Rochdale.

Officers attended and found the car on a grass verge. The driver had fled from the scene.

No one was injured in the collision and enquiries are ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2042 of 04/04/18.
