Middleton Arena improvements

Middleton Arena gym has been refitted to include new cycling equipment, a new functional training zone and an extended free weights area.

New fitness equipment includes power mills, an athletic half-rack, linear plate-loaded leg press. Total Gym row trainer, Total Gym GTS trainer and 20 premium ic7 indoor cycling bikes.

The fitness suite was refurbished and new indoor bikes installed over the winter. Other improvements include rainage works to the gym, the swimming pool and wet changing village. Upgrades have been completed on the studio flooring, and pool-side and shower temperatures and new studio equipment is due.

Middleton Arena manager Andrew Entwistle said: “We’re really excited about these improvements. We hope customers like the changes and look forward to bringing them even more new equipment this year. We realise customers may have experienced some disruption but we really appreciated them bearing with us during the work.”
