Peppa Pig on a traction engine at Ellenroad Steam Museum
Ellenroad Steam Museum hosted a 'children’s take over day' on Easter Sunday.
The event saw the Star Tree Studio providing a make and take craft and Jen's Creations painting faces and making balloon models. Peppa Pig popped along on a traction engine, to the children's delight.
The children also got to see first hand steam engines in action with volunteers explaining how the engines worked.
Ellenroad chairwoman, Zoe Attwood, who organised the event, said: “We had a huge turnout, we were blown away by the support.
"It was fantastic to see the children learning all about the engines and taking part in the free craft activities we provided”
The museum intends making it an annual event.
