ITV filming in Heywood
Date published: 29 March 2018
Television crews for a popular ITV television show have been filming in Heywood on Wednesday and Thursday (28 and 29 March).
Part of series eight of Cold Feet, which returns to screens later this year, has been filmed locally after crews set up on the Bowlee fields as a base.
The show, which first aired in 1997, follows the lives of 30-something couples Adam and Rachel, Pete and Jenny, David and Karen as they navigate love and life in Manchester.
Rich Cain, who has been working on the show’s revival, confirmed: “We are filming up in Heywood and are using the Bowlee fields location as a base. We finish filming today [Thursday].”
The show, which was created by Mike Bullen, returned to screens in 2016 after a 13-year hiatus.
