Palm Sunday at St Andrew's Church, Dearnley

Date published: 28 March 2018

Palm Sunday is the day Christians all over the world remember the 'triumphal entry' of Jesus and his 12 disciples into Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover.

Jesus rode in on a donkey, just a few days before his crucifixion and one week before his glorious resurrection on Easter Day.

Two donkeys, were at St Andrew's Church, Dearnley to be part of the Palm Sunday service with Rev Rachel Battershell which was the start of a busy Holy Week, culminating on Easter Day with a 9.30am Sung Eucharist and Easter Bonnet parade.
