Diabetes awareness at the Lighthouse Project

A Basic Awareness of Diabetes course, accredited by Open Awards, took place at  the Lighthouse Project, delivered by the Centre of Wellbeing, Training and Culture (CWTC).

Dave Melia, Community Development Worker at the Lighthouse Project, said: The participants were extremely pleased to have achieved the certificate which has enhanced their knowledge in diabetes.”

Mohammed Sarwar, CEO of CWTC, said: “Some of the participants have diabetes, the feedback received was very positive in that the course will help to manage their condition appropriately.

"Well done to all the participants and Lighthouse Project in hosting the course.”
