KS1 Games Afternoon

On Wednesday 7 March, the children in KS1 enjoyed a “Let’s Play” afternoon.  The staff would like to thank all of the parents who attended our Exit Point.  Everyone had a fantastic afternoon.

World Book Day

World Book Day was celebrated on Thursday this week, a week later than planned due to the snow.  Thank you to everyone who dressed up or participated in the day’s events.  Thank you to Mrs Hoyle for organising the special ‘magic’ session after school on Thursday and to the children who came along to enjoy the experience.  We also managed to raise £235.00 which will go a long way to providing resources and books.  Thank you.

Manchester City Football Match

On Wednesday evening, some of our KS2 children were taken to the Manchester City match.  We are very appreciative of the teachers who gave up their free time to enable this trip to happen.  As always, the children’s behaviour was exceptional.

Dance Festival

On Thursday, Hamer school hosted the annual IPLCN Dance Festival.  10 schools participated and our KS1 Hamer dancers, led by our very able UKS2 dance leaders performed beautifully.  All the IPLCN children supported each other with enthusiasm and kindness throughout the event.  We are lucky to be part of a collaborative network of schools who work together, because they are ALL our children.
