Bus Service Updates - 7.40am Wednesday 28 February

Although most bus services are operating normally, the weather conditions are affecting bus travel in some areas of Greater Manchester today.

Passengers are advised to check with the bus operator or visit their website or social media pages for the very latest information before travelling and to allow more time for their journey. The bus services below have been reported as affected (as at 0740):

First

184 (Manchester to Uppermill/Huddersfield) – omitting Diggle and using Standedge/Huddersfield Road.
350 (Ashton to Mossley/Oldham) – omitting Hey Farm estate.
387/9 (Ashton to Hyde/Gee Cross) – omitting Ridge Hill estate.
425 (Holts to Fitton Hill) – using Ashton Road and omitting Alt estate.
454/7 (Rochdale to Shore/Stansfield) operating between Rochdale and Littleborough only.

Stagecoach Manchester

201 (Manchester to Hattersley) - omitting Hattersley estate and using Mottram Road to terminate at Tesco/M67 roundabout.
221 (Dukinfield to Manchester) - unable to serve Tennyson Avenue and starting from Cheetham Hill Road in Dukinfield.
204/6 (Hyde/Gee Cross to Manchester) - unable to serve Mill Lane and will travel to Haughton Green, then back to Crown Point and Hyde.
237 (Ashton to Glossop) - unable to serve Tintwistle and Hadfield and operating via the 236 route instead.
375 (Stockport to Mellor) - unable to serve Brinkburn Road (using Hazelwood Avenue), Hawk Green, Brabyns Brow or Mellor.
380/1 (Stockport to Romiley) - unable to serve Bents Avenue or The Ridgeway, and diverting via Bredbury Green.

High Peak

199 (Manchester to Buxton) – omitting Peak Dale.

Local Link

Local Link services in East Tameside, Saddleworth and Mossley, Rochdale, Kingsway, Middleton and Heywood suspended.
