Rochdale Christadelphians

Date published: 22 February 2018

The title of our Bible Hour this Sunday, 25 February, at 4:30pm is “The Eden Project”. As Christadelphians, we believe in a literal creation of the universe, estimated to have taken place around 6000 years ago.

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve committed the first sin against God, and since then humanity has been mortal and susceptible to suffering.

However, God has not left us in this state – he sent his Son, described as “the last Adam”, who lived his entire earthly life in service to his Father.

It will not be long now before Jesus returns to the earth to establish his Kingdom. Isaiah chapter 11 talks of Eden-like scenes of animals living in harmony with each other and with humans, returning the world to its original, perfect state as God made it.

Our Bible class will be held at 7:45pm on Tuesday 27 February, on the subject of "Boaz and Ruth".
