Weather conditions affecting bus services

Although most bus services are operating normally, the weather conditions have affected bus travel in some areas of Greater Manchester today, Monday, 12 February.

Transport for Greater Manchester say passengers are advised to check with the bus operator for the very latest information before travelling.

The bus services below have been reported as affected (11.00am update):

First Manchester

83 (Manchester – Sholver) service omitting Sholver, using Wilkes Street as diversion.
149 Omitting Coppice
184 (Manchester – Uppermill/Huddersfield) Staying on Standedge Road, omitting Diggle
425 (Holts – Oldham – Fitton Hill) omitting Alt estate.
350 (Ashton – Mossley – Oldham) omitting Carrcote, Delph and Hey Farm.
X84 (Manchester – Carrcote) omitting Carrcote.

Rosso

442 (Norden – Rochdale) omitting Norden Way.
443 (Rochdale to Shawfield) omitting Elmsfield, Norden way, Amey street and Ellis Fold loop.
456/8 (Rochdale to Littleborough) unable to serve Wardle, Chapel Low Hill and Staring Way.
461 (Bury - Norden) unable to serve Elmsfield.
480 (Bury – Tottington – Bolton) unable to serve Affetside
482 (Bury – Rawtensall – Bacup) – unable to serve Pennine Road
484 (Bury – Accrington) - not serving Ewood Bridge.
485 (Ramsbottom – Bury) Service cancelled until conditions in Peel Brow improve
487 Radcliffe – Bury) Services terminating at Walmersley Post Office

High Peak

199 (Airport – Buxton Skyline) not operating via Peak Dale

M-Travel

406 (Oldham – Firwood Park Circular) omitting Parkway Estate
418 (Oldham – Lees Circular) omitting Cooper Street, Lees

Diamond

684/5 (Leigh - Tyldesley) unable to serve Shakerkey estate in Tyldesley.

MCT

410 / 411 (Oldham circulars) - omitting New Earth Street, Lees and using Brewerton Road instead also omitting Littlemoor Lane and staying on the main road (Rippondon Road).
