Date published: 05 February 2018

A local businessman was happy to help out when newly formed Shawclough U12 Rangers football team were in need of a kit for their games in the Sunday Heywood League.

Raj Hussain, who owns Raj's Palace and JR Pizza, stepped in and provided a new strip for the lads.

Will Tuinukuafe, coach and manager of Shawclough U12 Rangers, said: "I have known Raj for several years and when I mentioned the team were in need of a sponsor he did not hesitate to help out.

“Myself, the lads and the club would like to say a huge thank you to him for his support."
