Free Basic IT Courses for Over 50’s – Fri 26, Sat 27 and Sun 28 Jan, Meadowfields Community Centre, 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Come along and learn how to use a tablet computer to download apps, E-mail friends and family, use social media, access cloud storage and take brilliant selfies.

Birds of Prey and RSPB Garden Birdwatch Activities – Sat 27 & Sun 28 Jan, Gordon Rigg Garden Centre Rochdale, 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Come along and join us as we celebrate the RSPB Garden Birdwatch with some bird related activities. Lots of things to choose from for people of all ages! Birds of prey will be here all weekend.

Learn how to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings through activities and breathing techniques that have been proven to reduce stress and improve wellbeing.

Rochdale & District Mind celebrate 30 year anniversary – JD Dance, 5pm – 10pm
The celebrations include music from Pastiche, poem readings by service users and volunteers, artwork and a short film about a volunteer’s involvement.

Project Harar envision a world where all children and young people with facial deformities are treated and supported to grow to their full potential. This quiz night is aimed to help them with their vision.

Live Performance: Tapestry – Touchstones Rochdale, 7.30pm
Tapestry perform a wide variety of song covers from the 70’s to the present day along with their own material. This will be their last gig before they embark on a European tour.

J.E.M.S Place Fundraiser – Middleton Cricket Club, 7pm – 11.30pm
J.E.M.S Place is a charity set up to help people who live with Autism. We are having our first fundraising night to celebrate Burns Night with fancy dress, music and a live auction.

Visitors to Hollingworth Lake will be greeted by an unseasonal sight as hundreds of red and white suited Springhill Santa’s show that not even snow, ice and plummeting temperatures can stop them supporting Springhill Hospice.
