Council producing but does not know the cost!
Rochdale Council Communications team is developing a new tourism video "which will be used to promote the borough’s main attractions" but says it does not know how much it is costing.
The news follows uproar earlier this year when Rochdale Online revealed the Council paid a staggering £12,000 to a Hull-based company for a 97 second promotional film to "show its vision of Rochdale".

Asked how much is being spent on this video, and who the contract has been been awarded to, Danny Brierley, Head of Council Communications, replied: "The video is still in production so costs at this stage are not known."
He did not answer who the contract had been awarded to.
A Freedom of Information request has therefore been submitted asking:
Where and when was the contract tendered?
What is the name of the organisation that won the tender - or if not tendered the name of the organisation that has been commissioned to produce the video?
How much is the Council paying for the video?
