Jason Winward sentenced to 10 years in jail for historic sexual acts against boy

Jason Mark Winward (19/05/1971) has been sentenced to 10 years in jail for historic sexual acts he carried out against a boy.
Winward, of Littleborough, appeared at Manchester Minshull Street’s Crown Court on 22 November where he was found guilty of all seven charges, which included six counts of indecent assault on a male person, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was under the age of 14 when the assaults took place between June 1985 and December 1989.
Winward, director of Pad Printers Limited, was given 10 years for the first five offences, running concurrently, with three years concurrent for the sixth and six months concurrent for the final charge.
He has also been ordered to ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register indefinitely and has been served a barring notice to prevent him working with children.
