Years 7 & 8 Rugby

The Years 7 and 8 Rugby team recently played a fixture against Bolton School.

It was a great experience for our students to participate against a well-established Rugby Union school.

Our students were in awe of the facilities and the building and it was soon named - ‘Hogwarts’.

The students played well despite the result of 2-6, with tries scored by Olly Mills and Alex Dowd.

Year 8 Football

Well done to the Year 8 Football team who won their recent match against Holy Family 5-3. Goals were scored by Jack Campbell (3) and Mackenzie Davies (2).

The team was made up of: Olly Mills, Louie Hughes, Jack Cowen, Abbas Manzoor, Bailey Smith, Taylor Crook, Harry Butterworth (c), Jack Campbell, Max Megson, Frank Bennett, Mackenzie Davies, Kamran Buckley, Jason Needham and Ibrahim Ali.

Thank you to George Hicks in Year 11 for his assistance with match preparations and encouragement for the boys.

Boys’ Dance Workshop

On Friday 1 December there will be a Boys’ Dance Workshop in F29 from 1:00-3:00pm. Students have been targeted and have shown commitment to the ‘Tricks & Lifts’ lunchtime club.
