The ISA National Art Competition Finals

The ISA National Art Competition Finals exhibition was held in Coventry this year. This year’s judges were both extremely impressed by the standard across the classes at Beech House.

The art work ranged from a 3D BFG to a lovely understated painting of a HP Sauce bottle, as well as enormous Hockney-inspired paintings and tigers ready to pounce to beautiful ceramic mushrooms. There were also mannequins adorned with fabulous fabrics.

Year 2 were runners up in the 2D – 3D Art Group Key Stage 1 with their ‘Mermaid Invasion’. Elana El-Hage was runner up in the 2D Art Individual Key Stage 3 with her watercolour ‘Hand’. In the Fashion and Accessories Key Stage 2 and under section, Gabrielle El Hage was highly commended with her Bunny Slippers.

Beech House were, once again, the most successful school from the North of England.
