House fire on Halifax Road believed to be started ‘deliberately’

A fire at house on Halifax Road in Smallbridge on Saturday 28 October is believed to have been started deliberately.

Three fire engines from Rochdale and Littleborough attended and crews used four breathing apparatus and hose reels to tackle the fire that had started in a first-floor bedroom before clearing smoke with a positive pressure fan.
