Family pay tribute to David Brooks

The family of David Brooks, who died after a collision in Heywood, have paid tribute to him.

His family said: “Our father was such a loving and genuine man, with a heart of gold.

“He was loved by everyone for being the fun loving character that he was and our hearts are broken by our loss.”

Police Constable Dermot Murray of GMP’s Serious Collision Unit, said: “My thoughts continue to be with David’s family and friends at this devastating time.

“I’m asking for anyone who was in the area, or who may have dash-cam footage to get in touch with police as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 4741 or 101, quoting incident number 1930 of 21/20/17. This can also be done anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
