Baum and Flyer to host Rochdale Gin Festival

Date published: 26 October 2017

The owners of The Baum and The Flying Horse have joined forces to host this year's 'Rochdale Gin Festival'.

Last year the Gin Festival was held at Rochdale Town Hall but due to unforeseen circumstances cannot be hosted there this year and hence Simon Crompton (of The Baum) and Ben Boothman (of The Flying Horse) have stepped in and will host the festival at the two popular town centre venues.

Simon and Ben said: “It was a fabulous event last year and one that The Flying Horse and The Baum feel is something the town deserves.

“As it stands there will be over 80 gins available in both venues as well as a few surprises along the way.

“It is the first time that two of Rochdale’s best-known pubs have come together to do an event like this and hopefully it is a sign of things to come."

The Gin Festival, hosted by The Baum and The Flying Horse Hotel, is on Friday 10 November from 5.00pm.

Simon and Ben said: “Hope to see you at both venues at some point during the night.”
