The Rt Hon David Jones, MP was the guest speaker for this year’s Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Conservatives Annual Dinner.
Mr Jones is the Member of Parliament for Clwyd West, he is a lawyer, voted to leave the European Union and has a track record in government going back to 2003, giving an interesting insight into life at the cutting edge of national politics.
Anne Shorrock said: “It was an excellent night with an excellent speaker who is keen to leave the EU as soon as possible.
“David Jones was well received and inspired us. He was very impressed with the whole evening and chatted easily with the guests.”
Norman Wellens said: “The Rt Hon David Jones was really interesting. I thought the meal was excellent.”
