St John with St Michael children make pizzas at Frankie and Bennys
Year 2 children from St John with St Michael CE Primary School in Shawforth had an amazing trip to Frankie and Bennys Restaurant at Sandbrook Park, Rochdale.
They were greeted by the staff, given colouring books and word searches, shared juice then they got to make their own healthy pizzas.
The children were told nutritional information and encouraged to try some of the toppings such as peppers and pineapple as they were dubious as to whether they would enjoy them.
Whilst the pizzas were baking, the children were shown how to make mocktails, looking at colour changes - which they thoroughly enjoyed.
