St Andrew's, Dearnley and Smithy Bridge
St Andrew's, Dearnley, in Littleborough, have a major social event coming up on Saturday 7 October when the five-piece Wigan-based band, 'Dukes Road' present live music from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
You can pay on the door (6.30pm for 7pm) or avoid disappointment by getting tickets priced £8 from Ada on 07854 703 426.
Supper of baked potatoes with choice of fillings is included and also available will be a licensed pay bar.
This will be the band's fifth visit to St Andrew's and, as always, it will be a swinging night with plenty of dancing in the aisles.
The band do us a massive favour by travelling from Wigan to entertain us and the best way we can show our gratitude is to make sure they're playing to a full house.
This coming Sunday, 24 September, we have our Harvest Festival at 9.30am when we'll be accepting donations for the local Foodbank and having a collection for Christian Aid and the Blind Mission.
