A closure order has been put in place at the end of Swinside Close in Middleton to allow for the demolition of a small row of adjacent houses.
Andrew Storey, Rochdale Borough Council’s head of capital projects & highways, said: “A small section of highway at the end of Swinside Close in Middleton, which is a cul-de-sac, is due to be closed as the route no longer serves a purpose following the demolition of a small row of adjacent houses.
“This closure is part of the planned redevelopment of the area.”
