Graffic Detail provides Reuse Littleborough with signs for collections van

Graffic Detail have provided Resuse Littleborough new signs for their collections van.

Local signage company Graffic Detail has provided Resuse Littleborough with eye-catching signs for their collections van.

The van has now been kitted out with both the Reuse Littleborough and Graffic Detail logos, plus contact information in a bid to get the borough donating their items rather than dumping them.

A logo for the Tanzanian baby home, Forever Angels has also been added to the van, as the group have given the home an overwhelming amount of support in recent years.

Graffic Detail was set up by Paul and Janine Devine just over six years ago. Paul set up the business in his garage, transforming it into a workshop. Going from strength to strength rapidly over the years, they are now located at the Klondike Business Centre on Chichester Street.

Michael Bamford, of Reuse Littleborough, said: “Paul and Janine are very supportive of what we do.

“When I told them we have no money to offer, they said no problem. It’s good that local companies support local charities.”

Janine said: ""Reuse Littleborough is an excellent charity. When Michael asked if we could assist with vehicle graphics, we had no hesitation.

"Reuse Littleborough needed them and we were more than happy to design, print and fit them for him. We like to get involved in charity work and this is one of many we have helped. We hope Michael gets more donations and continues to help people in need."

Reuse Littleborough, entirely run by volunteers at Stevenson Square in Smallbridge, aim to reuse many everyday items that would otherwise end up in the bin.

The group accepts most items including baby and children's clothes, school clothing (including shirts, skirts, shorts, pants and black shoes), other clothing, children’s toys, pre-school toys and books, disabled equipment for children, and wheelchairs.

Toiletries, including toothbrushes, shampoo, wipes, cotton wool, buds, and medical items such as plasters, bandages, syringes, Calpol, thermometers, and sanitary products are also accepted.
