Hundreds enjoy Wardle Village Fete
Date published: 03 September 2017
Hundreds of people attended the annual Wardle Village Fete, enjoying an afternoon of carnival arts and crafts, good food, fairground rides, donkey rdies and stalls.
A dog show, organised by PAWS animal rescue, was sponsored by Busy Beans coffee, meaning all money raised from the dog show went directly to helping the animals PAWS rescue.
Fundraisers from team Save Samantha raised over £240 towards life saving surgery for local resident Samantha Smith, who is currently in the United States undergoing her treatment.
Rebecca Hilton from Craft Cottage, who organised the event, said: "What a great turn out today for the fete. The best yet. Thank you to everyone for making it a successful event. Hope to see you all next year."
