Springhill Tea Room and Gift Shop to close for refurbishment

Springhill Tea Room and Gift Shop will be closed for refurbishment for one month between September and October.
The Tea Room will close its doors at 3pm on Saturday 2 September until 10am on Monday 3 October whilst improvements are made to the premises.
Included in the plans are new toilets with brighter and larger facilities, replacing the ‘dark and drab’ old ones, plus a kitchen expansion with new facilities.
When the Tea Room reopens, the new kitchen will allow staff to include new additions to the menu.
A spokesperson for the Hospice said: “We are making a few changes to make our customers’ experience even more enjoyable.
"Sorry for any inconvenience but we know you will be pleased with the changes we are making.”
