Man taken to hospital with head injuries after collision at junction of Red Lane and Halifax Road

A 21-year-old man has been taken to Royal Oldham Hospital with head injuries after a collision on Halifax Road on Sunday.
Four patients were treated for minor injuries, with two taken to Rochdale Infirmary.
Emergency services were called to the collision at the junction of Red Lane around 11pm, involving a black Audi, and a blue Volkswagen, which hit a road sign for Buckley Hall.
A fire engine from Rochdale station attended with crews on the scene for about half an hour.
Fire Service trauma technicians checked two casualties before handing over to Northwest Ambulance Service.
