It’s time for young people to 'reclaim' Rochdale
Date published: 26 August 2017
Youth leadership charity Reclaim
Youth leadership charity Reclaim is coming to Rochdale in October.
Reclaim has been empowering working class young people to be seen, get their voices heard, and to lead positive social change.
Now they want to work with local people to deliver a programme for young leaders in Rochdale.
From October, 12-13 year olds in Rochdale will have the opportunity to be part of a programme - Lead - which will support them to be a bold, authentic voice for young people in their community.
The Lead programme has been delivered in communities across Greater Manchester since 2007, training participants in leadership, enterprise, activism and community development.
Reclaim will be at the Festival of Friendship on Thursday 31 August in Broadfield Park.
