Rochdale ambulance staff in charity football match
Date published: 19 August 2017
Rochdale ambulance staff are taking part in a charity football match at Fox Park on Sunday (20 August) to raise money for the Manchester bombing victims.
Several of the team were called to the incident in May, which tragically left 22 people dead and a further 120 injured after a suicide bombing at the Manchester Arena.
The North West Ambulance NHS Trust will be facing JD Sports 11 at the Sacred Heart FC pitch on Belfield Mill Lane at 3.30pm. The bar will be open both during and after the match.
Mersey Medical Service has funded the venue cost to allow the game to take place.
Admission costs £1 for adults and 50p for children.
All money raised will go to the Manchester bomb charity fund.
