Cars stolen in Heywood robbery

Four masked men burst into a man's house in Heywood and robbed him of two cars.
Shortly before 7pm on Wednesday 5 March 2008, the 41-year-old victim was alone in his house in Mercers Road when his front door was kicked in.
Four men came in and forced the victim to hand over the keys to two cars that were parked outside. They were a black Volkswagen Golf GTi with the registration number MA57 PZH and a black Volkswagen Golf TDi with the registration VF55 WRT.
The robbers also took a computer game, a watch and the man's wallet before driving away in the cars.
The victim was not injured, but was left shaken by his ordeal.
Anyone with any information about the robbery, or who might have seen the cars since they were stolen, is urged to contact police on 0161 856 4557 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
